Golf Club Ratings System
NEW: Item is in New Condition. Club has not been hit. Club may or may not be in original plastic wrap. There may be very light shop wear from handling in packaging.
Mint: Very slight traces of use. There may be some shop wear, or some light surface scratching on the face and sole from hitting no more than a few balls in the shop, or playing a single round of golf. Clubs in this condition will look no different than a new club will look after one or two rounds of use.
Excellent: The club will have very light wear, club used lightly and well taken care of. There could be smaller dings or paint scratches which will not alter ball striking. Most likely used for one season or less.
Very Good: Club shows normal signs of moderate use, (probably more than one season) but well taken care of. There may be some light skymarking, light bag wear, or light paint chipping, none of which will alter ball flight.
Good: Club may have some lighter skymarking and paint chipping along with some lighter bag wear on the shaft. Grip will show some use. Club will play as well as the day it was made despite some cosmetic blemishes.
Playable: Club was most likely heavily used and probably not very well taken care of. Paint Chips and Skymarking are most likely present along with possible bag wear on the shaft. These clubs show heavy use. They will however, perform acceptably despite appearance. These are sometimes our best bargains.
